As you know, the success of your child as an adult is built on the foundation-building experiences he or she has as a child. That is why it is so vitally important that you as a parent are equipped with the tools to insure your child’s success. At the Center for Life Enhancement, we understand how challenging it can be to provide your child with these life-shaping moments. That is why we have designed an exciting seminar called THE KIDS COURSE.

THEN THE KIDS COURSE IS MADE FOR YOU!

What is THE KIDS COURSE?

It is an impactful weekend dedicated to reinforcing what you are teaching at home. Through a variety of fun, games, and educational and empowering activities, your child will learn how to:

  • Recognize how their behavior impacts others
  • Feel good about him/herself as a person
  • Be heard and more understood by using “V.I.P”—voice, eyes and posture
  • Let go of grudges and past hurts
  • Understand his/her feelings. Learn how to label them, express them,
    and deal with them in a healthy manner
  • Develop him/herself as a leader
  • Meet new friends and learn how to interact successfully in groups

It is our goal to provide THE KIDS COURSE kids with tools to become the people they are designed to be—confident, assertive and excited about themselves as human beings.

Who can attend THE KIDS COURSE?

Any boy or girl, ages 8-12, who wants to be the best they can be and have fun learning new life skills.

Where is THE KIDS COURSE held?

At the Center for Life Enhancement (CLE) in Monroe, MI.

What is the schedule like for THE KIDS COURSE ?

FRIDAY: 7:00-10:00 p.m.

At night students will sleep at home if they live in the area or with other youth participants from Monroe if they don't.

SATURDAY: 9:00 a.m.--9:30 p.m.

At night there is a sleep-over at the Center with snacks and a movie.

SUNDAY: 9:00 a.m. --7:00 p.m.

At 2:00 p.m. the parents and kids will have bonding time with exercises designed to create new levels of communication and closeness. A wonderful graduation ceremony is held after a family pot-luck dinner.


Who are THE KIDS COURSE instructors?

Barb Hosler, CLE Center Owner and Roy Fraker from Delray Beach, FL bring with them their years of work with children, their compassion, insight, gentleness, absolute love of kids and their affinity for playful fun.

Teen assistants are there for support, insight, and fun.
